"Self Portrait Drawing a Self Portrait In the Dark"

Impulsive drawing in the middle of the night, for the purpose of emptying my head.
Drawn via a small round mirror while sitting cross-legged on my mattress with the roll of paper on the floor in front of me, with christmas lights on the wall behind me. The lighting was so dim that I could barely see which colors I was picking up from a selection of ten pastels. The task became to upon each moment of looking in the mirror catching the color which occured to me and putting in on the paper in the right places.
It was interesting that the colors I saw kept changing so fast, that I wasn't sure whether I "froze the moment" and applied the color which I then saw, of whether I just wanted to see the color which I at any moment felt like using.

And of course the drawing was "finished" before turning on the lights, so no improvements made later!
